Fred Mdamanyi

Fred Mdamanyi is a contemporary artist based in Dar es salaam Tanzania, born in central Tanzania. From an early age he began developing his artistic sensibilities, It was a bittersweet experience exploring his interests in an environment where art isn’t a priority, he depicts daily African activities, culture, beauty(skin color, facial expression), sports through portraiture and other forms of art. He moved to Uganda(neighboring county) for further studies then later returned to his home country Tanzania. He was excited to explore a new land.

Fred currently works full-time as a professional artist, he is skilled in several different mediums and art forms including pencil drawing, painting, digital painting and graphic design. He is passionate about encouraging the youth around him to utilize their talents and skills to make the world a better place. You can find most of his art works in his instagram account.
