The Honest Poet

The Honest Poet (THP) is the music project of Chepstow based musician Jamee Summers. Combining his soulful vocals with poignant lyrics, THP draws inspiration from his life, cultivating each story from an honest viewpoint. THP infuses spoken-word, hip hop and soul to create a truly unique sound from South Wales.

With support from BBC Radio Wales & Horizons via Bethan Elfyn’s Wales Mix already, Good Love is undoubtedly going to make an impact on music fans looking to discover tunes to bring a summer vibe to their strange 2020.

Jamee describes the track as: “a song I wrote to capture the summer vibe. The visuals in the music video replicate the energy in the song and the vibe that it carries throughout. It’s about lust, love and that special someone in your life combining my some of my big influences: hip hop, pop, afrobeat and summer.”
