Black History Month Wales 2019 North Wales Launch

Bangor | Bangor Town Hall

Saturday 28 September 2019 | 12pm to 4pm

The launch will be open to all and will begin with a drumming performance by the town clock. There will be a parade to the Town Hall, where the mayor will officially launch BHM in north-west Wales. The remainder of the afternoon will consist of music and dance performances. Families will be able to participate in several activities, including drumming, capoeira, Jamaican games and African dance. Several exhibitions will be on display from the various groups supporting our launch, including North Wales Jamaica Society, Gwynedd Africa Society, NWAMI and the Jamaica-Wales Alliance.

The Black History Cymru 365 programme for 2019-20 launched at this event will be: Performance Design and production skills development.
