Stalls from 1pm | Music Event 6pm – 7.30pm

The Black History Wales launch for Aberystwyth will be hosted by the Aberystwyth Arts Centre and created in partnership with RCC, Aber Arts Centre, the Aberystwyth Students Union and BAME student lead representative and Dyfed Powys PCC. The staged event will programme presentations, music and dance performances with surrounding information stalls and activities delivered by the BAME student groups and SU societies engaging audiences in Multicultural Arts and food tasting.

The Black History Cymru 365 programme for 2019-20 launched at this event will be: Series of presentations and creative skills development.

Black History Month Wales hosts celebrations around the country in October 2019 whilst Black History Cymru 365 provides a series of opportunities throughout the year for our grassroots communities and organisations to develop a diverse programme of Arts & Creative practice in Wales, to build ongoing partnership programmes to increase engagement, teach skills and development diversity in Artistic practice.
