Black History Month Wales 2019 Youth Music Launch | Movers, Shakers & Legacy Makers

Wales Millennium Centre | Glanfa Stage

Saturday 12 October 2019 | 2pm – 5pm

This event aims to showcase young performers and musicians at an open Glanfa Stage event in partnership with Wales Millennium Centre, Radio Platfform Youth Panel and Race Council Cymru Youth Forum. The youth teams will be supported to research emerging music and performance artists and programme the staged event. Mentors with expertise in music & performance skills and event management will oversee the process and support the selected artists to perform and support the youth teams to deliver the event.

Black History Month Wales hosts celebrations around the country in October 2019 whilst Black History Cymru 365 provides a series of opportunities throughout the year for our grassroots communities and organisations to develop a diverse programme of Arts & Creative practice in Wales, to build ongoing partnership programmes to increase engagement, teach skills and development diversity in Artistic practice.
