Rwandan Kivu Ruhorahoza’s film is a mesmerizing experience which catapults cutting-edge African cinema onto the world stage. It posits questions of what modern Rwanda looks like, blurring the line between scripted and found story, reminiscent of such filmmakers as Werner Herzog.
