The Black History Cymru 365 programme for 2019-20 launched at this event will be: Wales wide Creative skills programme including new writing.

LOCATION: Pierhead Building, Cardiff, UK

The BHMW2019 Launch event in the Pierhead will take place not only as the opening event of the 2019 Black History Wales programme but also as part of the Welsh Government 20th Year of Devolution celebrations.

The Youth Awards showcase young people who have made dynamic change for better futures in Wales and beyond. There are 10 Award categories that will recognise Movers Shakers & Legacy Makers in the Arts, Music, Science, Technology and Sport to Business Entrepreneurs, Community Leaders and Carers amongst others.

The event will have presentations by both Welsh Government, Youth Parliament members, and Armed Forces change agents, plus lunch, refreshments and music performances.
