Farah grew up in Cardiff and attended Moorland Primary School. He also joined the football academy for Cardiff city at 14 years.
Farah started his football career with Cardiff City football club in 2011, when he was 18 years old. He made his debut performance against Oxford United in the League Cup. He was then on loan to Tamworth football club from 24 November 2011. While in Tamworth FC he participated in the FA Cup. He later joined Birmingham City football club in 2012 on trial, however the move was not made permanent. In 2014, he joined the Carmarthen Town football club and made two appearances in their games.
Farah accused his former manager Malky Mackay of being racist after he left Cardiff City football club.
