Before becoming a partner in the company Good Soil, Charmaine had already built two popular diversity brands which were 5x, the award winning ethnic/curve model agency, and Face4music and Goal Digger Power Circle, a hub for female entrepreneurs.
1983
Carshalton, Surrey.
2008 – Charmaine received a dual degree in Law and Psychology from the University of East London where she graduated with Honours. She the became a model agent for F4M Models.2015 – Founder of Goal Digger Power Circle
2016 – she co-launched a successful online media channel, Not for The Radio, as co-host interviewing top musical artists.
2017 – Charmaine became the founder of Good Soil Co Ltd
She credited her thick skin and solution focused attitude to her tough upbringing.
Always curious, Charmaine’s first entrepreneurial venture came at the age of 15. She recalls going to Wembley Market in search of a job to fund her love of trainers, though when her friends saw her there, they told her it was uncool to be working at the market
Charmaine recalls that throughout the years, there’s been a lot of unpleasant experiences. A lot of pleasant ones too. “Heartbreak, Loss, hardship and domestic violence also played huge roles in my life” she has said. ” I spent a crap ton of money, paid my debt off, incurred some more. I tried several different methods. Created and recreated. Left jobs, cities, apartments, projects, friends and lovers behind. I’ve done a heck of a lot of personal development work and I’ve invested in myself and my business by working with some pretty amazing leaders. My journey has been one for the books. Spiritual growth, Learning to trust myself and realising how much I can endure is beyond me. ”
