Dina is a female athlete whose specialty is in sprinting. She is the fastest British woman in history. From a young age, she joined the Great Britain National team in relay and started competing in various national and international competitions. She has since participated in different races and won several medals .Year born: 1995

2013- won a bronze medal for 4 x 100m at the World Championship
2015 – broke the British 100m record in London
2016 – awarded a bronze medal in 4 x 100m at the Rio Olympics
2017 -awarded a silver medal for 4 x 100m at the World Championship
2019 – awarded the national record in Doha for 100m which was 10.83 seconds
2019 – awarded another national record in Doha for 200m which was 21.88 seconds

Dina was born to Julie and Winston Asher-Smith and in Orpington where she spent her early childhood . She completed her GCSEs, A Level and university degree with excellent results. She always had a passion for athletics, and joined an athletic club at the age of eight.

Dina was coached by John Blackie, who she met when she was eight years old. She joined the British team and was the youngest athlete to be selected for the Great Britain and Northern Ireland squad. In 2015 she broke the British 100m record in London. At the age of 19 she became the fastest teenager ever to compete in the 60m. She went on to participate at the 2016 Summer Olympics with her teammates, which won them a bronze medal in the 4x 100m relay race. She proved to be unstoppable when she got fourth position in 200m race in World Championships 2017, after she had broken her foot during training. In 2018, she broke another record and became the first British woman to run below 22 seconds for a 200m race. She also became a world champion in 200m in 2019, after setting a British record of 21.88 seconds in the race. As a well known sprinter, she has been endorsed by brands including Nike and Hublot.
