National Black History Wales Youth Awards Past Winners

2019 Movers, Shakers and Legacy Makers

The award ceremony was part of the 2019 Black History Month Wales (BHMW2019) celebrations, with events held across Wales mainly in October. With these awards, we wish to recognise the achievements of young people and community leaders in Wales.

In 2019 the Awards ceremony was led by Race Council Cymru and held at the Pierhead Building, Cardiff Bay. The event was sponsored by the First Minister, Mark Drakeford and the host for the awards was Beverley Humphreys, a well-known and successful Welsh singer.
