Memorial Service for Ethnic Minority & Commonwealth Servicemen & Women at Alexandra Gardens, Cathays, Cardiff

Race Council Cymru, in partnership with the Royal British Legion, Royal Commonwealth Society Wales and the Armed Forces in Wales,  warmly invite you to a Memorial Service to commemorate Ethnic Minority & Commonwealth Servicemen and Women. Taking place at 11am, Saturday 6th November 2021, in Alexandra Gardens, Cardiff.

This short service will remember those individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds, who were either living in, or came to Wales, to support the United Kingdom in her time of need during the World Wars and past conflicts. Many of these courageous volunteers lost their lives and we recognise this sacrifice and honour them with this service, two years on from the Cardiff monument being erected in 2019.

This outdoor event has no current Covid restrictions in place, however we do ask that you adhere to the 2 metres distancing rules where possible whilst attending the ceremony.
